About Housing Opportunities For Macomb Inc.
HōM Inc. purchases homes and completely renovates them. The homes are then made available for resale to first time homebuyers who qualify for a mortgage and meet income and other guidelines.

The Agency is governed by a 15 member Board of Directors and there are four standing Committees: Executive, Client Criteria, Rehabilitation, and Finance/Marketing.
Input from community residents is very important in terms of advising
HōM in decision making regarding the design, development and management of affordable housing. Anyone wishing to comment is encouraged to contact the organization - Email hom15220@sbcglobal.net.
HōM Inc. was the first CHDO organized in Macomb County. CHDO stands for Community Housing Development Organization and is a HUD designation that allows the agency to receive federal funding under the HOME program. This program provides support for purchasing and fixing up the homes. Also HOME funding is used to provide down payment assistance for families who purchase these homes.
