Life is so challenging monetarly and emotionally. I think this is a great way for the Eastpointe community of parents to get together and support each other.
Through the GoEastpointe Forum there are so many ways to help each other. Communication is the key!
Well.. things that you found that worked for your child may help save the hair loss of another parent who is having the same problem with their child.
Or other things like sharing services with each other like babysitting or helping in the search for a hard to find toy.
There are so many possiblites here to explore.
Can't wait to see it rock'in and roll'in.

Now that the weather is turning cold and the garage sales are in hibernation a great way to find some deals could be free.
Invite a group of women who have babies of varying ages (you don't want them all the exact same size, as the idea is to swap items you no longer use for items you are going to need in the next few weeks or months).
Encourage your guests to come with at least 5 to 10 apparel items -- all washed and cleaned, and worth swapping. Anything with rips or stains should not be included. Feel free to broaden the scope and include games or toys your child has outgrown, baby-safety gear you no longer use or books.
When they arrive, have everyone put items into piles based on the type of item or the size.
Scrounge away, but be fair. If everyone's going for a particular pile, limit how much each person gets so no one goes home empty-handed.
When everyone has finished "shopping," take the opportunity to have a girl's night in. Rent a movie or order in food or everyone could bring a dish.
