you have a whole army of people that are sickened by your story. I encourage everyone to email, call or send snail mail to the city of eastpointe displaying their disgust at this injustice. remember folks it could have been any one of us or someone we love having their lives destroyed by a judge that has obviously lost touch with reality!!!! I have nothing but mad love and respect for Carmen and her friends and family affected by this disgusting diplay of injustice. Stay strong!

Look bottom is this, Carmen is very responsible and caring. No one has had a problem with her except the Walsh's and there friends. Your blaming Carmen for all the wrongs in the world, when all she has ever done was have a couple parties, that never once got out of control! The night she got the ticket-THE ONLY TIME SHE GOT A TICKET, there were a lot of people there, but most of them were sleeping. The reason for this bar-b-que/party was that we werre going to a concert, the house was empty from 730pm till 230am, at that time mostly everyone left or fell asleep. The 8 or 9 of us that were awake didnt disturb anyone except you, not the neighbors on either side of you or Carmen, its amazing that you are the ONLY one who heard "all that noise". You and your friends needs to stop spreading lies, Mr. and Mrs. Walsh, and get a life! Exclamation

It seems that this Judge Norene Redmond loves to pick on youth, mock them in open court and if they lip at her, bam, send them to jail to teach them some respect. I know lots of judges who seem to elevate themselves to some sort of godlike status. I think she has been watching too much Judge Judy. You know, the sarcastic !@#$% who loves to pick at people then hammer them. With great power comes great responsibility, it is about time that some of these people holding power get down to earth and realize they are human just like everyone else. People have feelings, and don't need to be mocked, do your dam job, be fair to everyone, and lead by example, show some compassion. The world would be a better place if we all did this.

Im sure you heard some of the news stories about my girlfriend Carmen Granata being thrown in jail with two years probation for a noise violation by Eastpointe judge, the 38th district court-Norene Redmond. Well the more we dig into this, the more dirt were finding on her. Everyday we hear another horror story about yet another one of her harsh and ridiculous sentencing; i.e. year probation for being late on paying there landlord license, jail time for jaywalkers, holding a 17 year old girl in contempt for a week-missing Thanksgiving, for questioning her high fine for possession of tobacco. There was an incident with Norene bringing her dogs into the courtroom with her while she worked, and despite pleas from the city, county, and people, she continued bringing them until finally the Michigan Supreme Court stepped in and forced her to leave them at home. She would also have paid city workers walk them while on the clock. Some members of the Eastpointe city council, who also have had problems with the good judge, informed me the she is the highest paid person in the city, and her staff that she hired, most without even posting, are also highly paid. Her court has a budget of one million dollars, and she would like more. To me it seems that this judge is abusing her power, wasting taxpayers money, filling up already over crowded jails with frivolous cases, and I think its time to stand up against her. Saturday the 16th we are going to protest, march, and picket, at the 9 and Gratiot area, by the courthouse. I have no problem with the city itself and no problem with the law enforcement, but whenever somebody abuses there power, and bullies people around and thinks they can get away with it like Norene Redmond has, I, for one will not stand for it! I ask for YOUR support. Remember, could happen to anyone of you, don’t let this judge scare you. Join us on Saturday the 16th from noon till 2pm.

My point exactly your story keeps changing !do you see that?I do and the reason stories change is because your telling lies ! I read your comments towards the walsh family and you stated that they were the only ones being botherd by the noise!your lying there young man because if you look at the petition it was neighbors on the side of her residents and also on one side of the walsh's and up and down the street so quit lying already if your gonna tell a story tell the truth! have you read pinnochio?Your noises are Growing! it's true! Redmond has abused her judical position for years. The law was never made to be used as a tool for oppession. She herself has been on the other side of the law and because of her alochol conviction seems to feel everyone has a problem. She also seems top have a perference for her friends and people she knows. granted, this is a safe community per se, that is the appeal to E-pointe, but if people like Redmond continue to rein, this community will cease to grow. A spiteful, negative judge is a crime itself to this community.
