I would just like to say there are so many wonderful people and events going on in Eastpointe. Do you know of a person, club,business or organization that contributes to the community? There are a lot I am sure of it. Have you or a person you know of helped someone in the City of Eastpointe, even just one time? Post it here. If I were a gambler I bet this would be the longest post on this site Smile

The Eastpointe Community Chest Networking Forum
Mission Statement: The Eastpointe Community Chest Networking Forum exists to encourage the community to work together to enhance the lives of our citizens by addressing particular needs.
History: The East Detroit Community Chest was organized in the 1940s. The Networking Forum began to organize in the fall of 1991. By the spring of 1993, the bylaws of the Community Chest had been rewritten to include the Networking Forum. During 1995, the Eastpointe Community Chest Networking Forum (ECCNF) received a nonprofit organization statue (501c3).
The Eastpointe Community Chest Networking Forum (ECCNF) supports the following projects:
• East Detroit Federation of Teachers Scholarship Trust Fund
• East Detroit Community Schools - Adult Education Scholarship
• Lighthouse Outreach Center
• ECCNF Youth Committee promotes Safe & Drug Free Schools
• Puttin' On the Ritz
• DARE
• RAP
• Summer Discovery Program
• Medical Equipment Lending Closet
• Eastpointe Fire Fighters (educational puppets)
• Eastpointe Library
• Halfway Schoolhouse
