The person who smashed the bottle and got arrested for disordely conduct and resisting arrest, R. Jordan, who got arrested the same night Carmen recieved her noise violation ticket, insted of getting out of jail that night or the next, he waited untill monday to see Judge Redmond. For some reason, the good judge thats known for her ridiculous stiff sentances, did not throw him in jail, in fact he is the one who started the petition! Isnt that odd????

I have seen a copy of the actual police report and I did find it very interesting.  To me it seems pretty dang contradictory that one of the neighbors who complained about the noise and how his neighbor Carmen did not have any respect for the other neighbors because she was throwing parties and being loud, would procede to take an empty liquor bottle and walk over towards his "noisy" neighbors house and heave the bottle at their driveway so it shatters everywhere. 

I think before someone starts to point fingers at other neighbors for behaving a certain way, they need to take a good look at themselves.  There is a proper way to handle a dispute you may have with a neighbor and I don't believe breaking bottles on their property is one of them...as they say two wrongs do not make a right!  The police obviously felt the same way because they proceeded to arrest this neighbor (Richard Jordan - case numbers 06B107899B & 06B107899 which can be looked up on www.courts.michigan.gov) for disorderly conduct as well as resisting arrest.  It will be interesting to see what type of harsh sentence this neighbor will get for this arrest when he goes for his court case on December 15th.  I mean if Judge Redmond hands out 30 day jail sentences with 2 years probation for a noise violation this guy could be looking at life without parol!
