Eastpointe is a great place. It has great places to eat, small quaint stores, and the general atmosphere is one of family, friends and good times.
The place looks great - thanks to the Garden Club and all their hard work.
There is history - remember Gratiot cruises?????

That is sooooooooooo mean to say! I know Eastpointe is not the best place in the world but where is !!!! You have to make the best on what you have. That was really uncalled for!!!!!

There are a lot of good things happening in Eastpointe and a lot of good people making them happen. This is the place to let your opinions known but there are so many other ways to promote Eastpointe using this site. There is good and bad in everything. If you find something wonderful that happened in Eastpointe write about it! Show everyone there is more good than bad . Using the forum is a good way to communicate,starting threads for groups and things that matter to you and your community posting events in the events calendar and let everyone know Eastpointe is a happening place. There is alot of good things going on in Eastpointe and alot to be proud of. Let it be known!

I've been a resident of Eastpointe for about 5-6 years now. I purchased my first home here and it's not too bad. There are a lot of things about Eastpointe that I do not like. However, I do think that Eastpointe puts forth a lot of effort to be a good community by holding events, planting flowers and keeping the city clean. I think the biggest problem are some of the residents. But that comes with every city.
Overall I think that Eastpointe is a great place to get started, but not to grow old.
