on Friday, December 22, 2006 - 03:07 PM EST :: Posted by : theregoesthehood :: 446 Reads You know I just don't understand, you have this poor girl sitting in jail because she is responsible,
educated, and a hard working citizen. Oh but that's right she made some noise and it bothered two nosey neighbors. Now I thought that having some friends over wasn't against the law? But what was I thinking? When you have people around her that like to make hell for others in the neighborhood, maybe she should have invited them over, nah because they're unsociable. I live in the area myself and I never had any problems with Carmen or her company. I have children myself also that play in the neighborhood and they never had a problem either. Never stepped on or over any broken beer bottles, never seen anyone urinating, but have seen people race down the street at ALL HOURS of the day and night (you know the public). Nor have they ever been bothered by any noise. It's pretty pathetic that we live in a community, not a wealthy community but a common one, and you have to worry about one or two bad apples that want to spoil everyone else’s fun. We live in a community where couples and families want to have a good start at having a good life by purchasing a moderately priced home. Well what do you get? I'll tell you, young people proud of what they have accomplished, that like to have fun. So in another word, live life to the fullest and stop worrying what other people do. It's a good motto to live by. Someone in this neighborhood likes to cause a lot of trouble for other people and we need to weed those people out so we can all have a happy, fun, productive life without having to worry about whose grass we step on or who we are going to offend by being too loud. Newsflash: for what might bother you doesn't necessarily bother every made up petition signer! I would love to see all the people that signed that petition step up and complain as much as the two that originated it. FREE CARMEN!!!

Ummm is'nt she out of jail? Are you just trying to keep this pathetic story going? What you dont have anything better to do with yourself? I bet you dont even have anything to do with this? I bet your one of the ones who signed a letter for Carmen?Your probaly one of her friends? Or maybe just want to be?Do you think 14 people signed a letter against this house for no reason at all? I think You are probaly considerd a bad apple on the street and your sticking up for this girl because you guys have so much in common! Well I read in the court documents that 14 people signed a petition complaining about that house and only three people signed it for her! Huum ..Who is the public gonna believe the 14 people or the 3? Majority rules! If your gonna post something atleast get the timeing right and make some sense because majority of the people in Eastpointe side with the 14 neighbors then they do the 3 so I think you should get another hobbie instead of getting into other peoples buisness !Well thats just the impression I get with you and your idiotic comments that you want people to believe but I dont believe them and I'm sure others will see through the lines too

Hello AngelsMission -- The posting of this article is our fault. This post was submitted a while back and had been missed. The member theregoesthehood is not trying to "keep this pathetic story" going. We all have rights to our opinions and even though Carmen is now out of jail, the issue remains as to whether or not a 30 days jails sentence is appropriate for a noise violation. We, GoEastpointe.com, believe we shouldn't omit anyone from expressing their thoughts or opinions while at the same time we remain neutral. GoEastpointe.com is for the citizens of Eastpointe to freely discuss any matter deemed important to the community and therefore thank you for your comment.
